讲座介绍：	Acupuncture is a popular and effective TCM therapy. In Singapore, only registered TCM practitioners are allowed to practise acupuncture. For the general public, acupressure is therefore more viable method for self-treatment and healthcare purpose. For acupressure to be effective, basic understanding of meridian theory and acupoints is necessary. By carefully applying pressure on selected acupoints and/or meridians, the body energy and blood circulation can be improved, thereby enhancing our health and vitality. This talk will cover the fundamental knowledge of meridians and acupoints. Some of the commonly used acupoints will be introduced. With these knowledge, we will touch on the common symptoms due to long hours usage of mobile devices, and how one can use acupressure techniques to relieve the strain and fatigue. Other common useful acupoints to strengthen one body condition will also be introduced. Demonstration on identifying and locating the commonly used acupoints will also be given during the talk.
