讲题 ：常见易混淆的中药材品种系列讲座之一（讲座日期：24/4/2016 [SUN], 14:00-17:15hrs） 讲座简介： 新加坡的中药材大多数从中国进口。由于中国地域广大，中药的来源广泛，品种众多，长期以来， 中药材同名异物，同物异名，地方习用等现象非常常见，如果混用和误用除了达不到应有的疗效外，还有可能产生严重的毒副作用。 本地中药材的混淆原因主要有：名称相似；地方习用；形态相近；炮制品混；来源有误；药品标准修改；配药粗心等，本讲座将针对本地中药材市场出现的混淆情况，以具体实例向大家介绍这些易混淆药材的分辨方法。

讲座（二）：1.糖尿病的中医药治疗；2.类风湿性关节炎的中医药治疗（每讲3小时）17/4/2016 (SUN), 14:00-17:15hrs 简介： 介绍古代医家对与糖尿病和类风湿关节炎相关的中医疾病的认识、近年 对糖尿病和类风湿关节炎病机及治疗原则的研究概况、近年对此两种疾病治疗的最新研究进展、名老中医相关治疗经验和讲者的体会。

讲座（一）：肝脏损坏的原因及防治方法（每讲3小时）16/4/2016 (SAT), 14:00-17:15hrs 简介： 介绍中医和西医对“肝”生理和病理的认识、导致肝脏损害的常见原因及防治（如嗜酒伤肝，郁怒伤肝，起居不调，食物伤肝，药物伤肝，疫毒伤肝等）；介绍养肝七法如：四时养肝、运动保健、按摩推拿、饮食疗法、情志疗法、药物治疗、膏方补养。

Chinese herbs and medicine are commonly used in TCM to cure illness. In most cases, they also have been used in our daily life, knowingly or unknowingly, as a form of healthcare to strengthen our health or alleviate our uncomfortable symptoms encounter in our body such as excessive phlegm, heatiness, cough etc. In many cases, some of the herbs and medicine that you have tried may be effective on one occasion but on another occasion, they are either ineffective or could worsen your symptoms. This course is the first part of commonly used Chinese herbs and medicine. By understanding the properties of the herbs and medicine, you will know better what to use, when to use and how to use them in an effective matter. One herb or medicine that is effective on one person may not necessary be effective on another person. Besides due to the different causes of disease, individual body constitution also plays a part. During the course, besides learning the properties of the herbs and medicine, you will also have the opportunity to taste some of the prepared herbs and medicine. You will have the opportunity to examine how simple formulas are built up using individual herbs. The herbs and medicine to be introduced during the course will be those that you can easily get them off the shelf.
