The Centre of Continuing Education (CCE) under Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SCTCM) regularly conducts TCM and healthcare-related talks, seminars and courses to allow TCM practitioners, students and the general public to strengthen their professional knowledge and skills, elevate healthcare awareness and to keep abreast of the continuous changes in the TCM landscape.
Objectives:
1. Increase self-awareness and TCM knowledge for the general public.
2. Enhance the professional standards and practices of SCPA members and SCTCM graduates.
3. Provide Continuing Professional TCM Education (CPE) events to medical workers.

Summary of seminars/talks conducted by CCE
CCE conducts different types of talks/seminars to meet the different requirements of our audience :
1. 高层论坛 Summit Symposium
Summit Symposiums are international academic conference platforms for renowned Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese and Western integrative medicine experts to share about new developments and niches in Chinese medicine through topical lectures and academic exchanges.
2. 名医大讲堂 Renowned Expert Lecture Series
Renowned Expert Lecture Series are academic lectures delivered by local and international experts. Topics are carefully selected according to the principles of being "applicable, clinically effective and well-received". Experts from various fields of specialization are invited to share their clinical experience and research, stimulating academic exchanges among TCM practitioners.
3. 专题讲座 Topical Lecture
Topical lectures are academic lectures delivered by senior lecturers with vast clinical experience. These lectures revolve around a wide range of academic topics and involve academic discussions, sharing of clinical experience, insights from using classical prescriptions, introductions to new developments in Chinese medicine etc., making them suitable for TCM practitioners seeking to expand their knowledge and skills, and for TCM students seeking to enrich their learning.
4. 第二课堂讲座 Enrichment Lecture
Enrichment lectures are enrichment classes offered to College’s current students at discounted rates. They are organized by the Academic Office with the objective of improving the academic calibre and clinical skills of College students. Delivered by renowned lecturers or senior College lecturers, they aim to provide an overview, give clarity to difficult concepts, and offer systematic organization and memorization techniques.
5. 公众讲座 Public Course
Public courses are mainly targeted at members of the public who are interested in Chinese medicine and healthcare. As compared to public lectures, short courses have specific teaching objectives and structured curricula.
6. 英语讲座 English Public Course
English Public courses include general talks and workshops about TCM and health-related topics. They are mainly targeted at members of the public who are interested in Chinese medicine and healthcare.
7. 海外进修 Overseas Immersion Programme
Overseas immersion programmes offer TCM practitioners the unique opportunity to broaden perspectives through international exchanges and internships at overseas universities and hospitals. Through academic exchanges with overseas experts, practitioners will be able to challenge their abilities so as to improve their academic and clinical skills.
8. 对外服务 Customised Event
Customised events are tailor-made to match the demand from various sectors of society, and can come in the form of lectures, workshops, medical history tours, coaching sessions, body constitution identification services etc. College has collaborated with various educational institutions, companies and enterprises, non-governmental organizations, grassroots communities and charities etc. to provide enriching Chinese cultural, TCM and healthcare content in diverse forms.
