DIPLOMA IN TCM PEDIATRIC HEALTHCARE THERAPIST (MANDARIN)
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to understand the TCM fundamental theory
healthcare for children, commonly used Chinese Materia Medica and TCM formula, physiological and
pathological characteristics of children, children safety, children nutrition therapy, psychological
therapy, children common diseases prevention, application for children tuina, precautions, commonly
used acupuncture points, commonly used paediatric tuina techniques and manipulation skills.
The course enables one to familiar the fundamental knowledge of children's health, master the
basic skills of children's health therapy, to be a proficient children healthcare professional.
Entry Requirement:
(1) One GCE ‘O’ Level subject Pass or equivalent or higher; or
(2) Obtained Certificate in Basic Theory of TCM; or
(3) Aged 30 and above, with at least 5 years of related work experience.
Language Proficiency:
(1) At least a C6 at GCE O level Chinese
(2) Those who fail in Chinese course or who have not taken Chinese subject must take
College Chinese language proficiency test.
Enrolment age：
Aged 16 and above
Type of Qualification:
Completion of all 9 modules, with an attendance rate of at least 75%, and those who pass the examination of all subjects will be allowed to graduate after being approved by the examination committee and issued:
