Objective
A two year part time course designed to provide primary care physicians with skill in the practice
of acupuncture. Upon completion of the course candidates are required to pass SARE conduct by
TCM Practitioners Board for registration and practising.
Eligibility
Applicants seeking for admission to the course must be a Medical Doctor or Dentist who has a
first medical degree with a minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience.
This course is only open to applicants who are currently registered (either fully or conditional
registration) with the Singapore Medical Council and Singapore Dental Council.

Course Structure
The course structure will be in accordance to the guideline set by the Singapore TCM Practitioners
Board and divided into 3 modules. The format of the course will be in Theory (305 Course hours)
and clinical sessions (100 Course hours)
